The revelation came only a few hours after Arkham Intelligence announced a $150,000 reward for anyone who could definitively identify the creator of DJT. This bounty was a response to Shkreli engaging in a hefty $100 million bet with well-known crypto trader GCR about the token’s authenticity. Arkham’s bounty notice emphasized the need for “definitive evidence” of the DJT token’s creator, and stated that they would accept private proofs, although any accepted proof would be made public.

Among those who have submitted evidence is the prominent blockchain investigator, ZachXBT. It’s believed that his involvement may have pushed Shkreli to conduct the X Spaces session. As debates continue, the question of whether DJT was launched by Trump or a member of his family remains a hot topic across various platforms.

People are actively putting money on the line regarding the origins of DJT. The decentralized betting platform Polymarket has seen nearly $1.9 million placed in bets related to the token’s authenticity. Significantly, only 17% of these bets supported the “Yes” option, suggesting belief in the token’s legitimacy. Following Shkreli’s session, this number plummeted to just 7%.

The rumor linking Donald Trump and his son Barron to the DJT token started from a post by Pirate Wires, a tech blog. The blog claimed to have information on the connection based on “conversations,” although it did not specify the sources of these dialogues. When questioned, Mike Solana, the creator of Pirate Wires, clarified that he hadn’t spoken with Trump directly but was relaying information from his sources.

Currently, DJT is trading at 0.012, which is a sharp decline of over 66% from its peak value of 0.036 recorded on Tuesday. The sudden interest and speculation around the token have evidently impacted its trading performance.
