Coffeezilla Exposes Rabbit AI's Alleged NFT Scam

YouTube investigator Stephen Findeisen, popularly known as “Coffeezilla,” has exposed an alleged nonfungible token (NFT) scam supposedly orchestrated by the artificial intelligence (AI) company Rabbit. In a video released on May 21, Findeisen accused Rabbit AI of being involved in dubious activities related to NFTs. He pointed out that Rabbit AI was formerly known as Cyber Manufacture Co. During its previous incarnation, the company managed to raise a staggering $6 million for an NFT project called Gama.

Despite this significant fundraising effort, Rabbit AI’s founder and CEO Jesse Lyu later distanced the company from anything related to crypto. Findeisen showcased statements made by Lyu in Discord where Lyu emphatically stated that the company would “never touch crypto.” Lyu was also quick to explain that the Gama project was merely a “fun little project” he dabbled in during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Lyu, he departed from the Gama project after the game they developed had been open-sourced.

Findeisen was not convinced by Lyu’s attempt to trivialize the project. He presented recordings where Lyu could be heard explaining a grand vision for Gama. In those recordings, Lyu detailed plans to invest millions to transform Gama into “a next-level experience.” Lyu further mentioned that NFTs were only the beginning of their ambitious plans, hinting at future groundbreaking ideas related to the Gamaverse and advancements in clean energy tied to Gama Coin.

The bold vision presented by Lyu raised several questions for Findeisen, particularly concerning the whereabouts of the $6 million raised for Gama. According to Coffeezilla, Rabbit AI insisted that all the funds were allocated solely to the NFT project. Findeisen argued that this should still raise alarms since Rabbit AI’s current operations appear to be built on the remnants of the controversial Gama project.

In addition to the questionable NFT activities, Coffeezilla also scrutinized Rabbit AI’s latest product, the viral R1. He claimed that the R1 was similarly overhyped and pointed out that many of the promises made regarding Gama had not materialized. This led Findeisen to draw parallels between the overstatements made about Gama and the exaggerated claims surrounding the R1.

Aside from Findeisen, other critics have voiced their concerns regarding Rabbit AI’s activities. WeGPT founder and CEO Josh Olin referred to Rabbit’s initiatives as a “scam” in a post made on January 14. Olin suggested that Rabbit’s endeavors were nothing more than a quick attempt to grab cash by enticing unwary investors.

Olin’s assertions added weight to Findeisen’s findings, amplifying the skepticism surrounding Rabbit AI’s integrity. The contrast between Lyu’s past statements and the current trajectory of Rabbit AI deepened the mistrust among observers. The dissonance between Rabbit’s grand promises and their actual deliverables poses significant questions for investors and the broader public.

The unfolding revelations about Rabbit AI underscore the need for transparency in the burgeoning NFT and AI sectors. As these industries continue to evolve, ensuring accountability and safeguarding investor interests remain paramount. The allegations brought forward by Coffeezilla and supported by others like Josh Olin serve as cautionary tales in an era where technological advancements can be swiftly exploited for financial gain.

Stephen Findeisen’s investigation paints a concerning picture of Rabbit AI’s past and present activities. The alleged NFT scam and the subsequent attempt to reinvent the company’s image suggest a pattern of dubious practices that should be carefully scrutinized. As the story continues to develop, it remains to be seen how Rabbit AI will respond to these serious accusations and whether they will openly address the questions surrounding their operations.
